Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Foundation Review

Hi Everyone!! Finally after a few months I am doing another blog post. Today's post is going to about a foundation that I received from Influenster. I was sent this product for free for testing purposes. Even though that that's the case and I am still going to be giving my full honest 100% opinion and everything that is writing here is my own words and thoughts and am not paid to say any of it. Also if you would like I also posted a video in my YouTube channel talking about this product as well, if you would like to check out the review in video form: https://youtu.be/5xZRat0kLBw This foundation comes in 12 different shades: porcelain, ivory, classic ivory, nude beige, warm nude, buff beige, natural beige, pure beige, rich tan, sun beige, warm honey, and coconut. Something to keep in mind when picking a shade in the bottle is darker than once it's applied to your face, so make sure that what you see in the bottle doesn't confuse you and make you pick a lighter shade. Meaning if you are usually in the shade ivory to pick ivory. When I first got mine in porcelain, I thought that it was too dark for me, but once the foundation was applied to my face the shade matched my skin.
Foundation in Porcelain
I tried this product out for 3 weeks and this is by far my favorite foundation to wear. This foundation has medium coverage, but you do have to retouch as this isn't long lasting. I also have sensitive skin, oily, acne prone skin and this product without a doubt didn't break me out. This product does claim to improve your skin overtime which I do agree that it does. By the end of the day I see my skin tone more even and my pimples diminish in size. I have also notice the redness on my pimples have calmed down. When applying I do recommend to work in sections as this product does dry pretty quick. Not too quick to the point that you can't blend it, but if you dot it throughout your face by the time you get the other side, it's already difficult to work with the foundation. It does leave a slight powdery finish, so if you have dry skin I definitely don't recommend you using powder on top. Something to keep in mind as well is that even though I have oily skin, do notice the foundation clinging on the sides of my nose. So I would be cautious if you have dry or combination skin. Now for the packaging I like how skinny it is. I also love the fact that it comes with a pump. Personally for me I avoid using products that don't come with a pump as they are difficult to not make a mess when pouring. Also the cap is pretty secure so you don't need to worry about the cap coming off when it's in your bag. It's also travel friendly as it's 1 fl oz as most foundations are. The only problem that I had during the 3 weeks was that on day 17 I had an eczema breakout on my chin. On day 18 it spread to my bottom cheeks. Since it spread pretty quickly I had to immediately stop putting any makeup related products on my face healed a week later. After about a week my eczema had calmed down and it was only my chin that was slightly dry and patchy. I applied the foundation then and throughout the day my skin didn't react. I did apply a little bit of powder to set the foundation and was very cautious, and didn't find any dry patches at the end of the day. Now I am going to show you some pictures to show you how much my skin improved in the 3 weeks that I used it. The following pictures are me with my bare face makeup removed. None of these pictures have been edited or touched in any sort of way.
